The last thing you want to come to is a hot house, a quick call to Jackson and Sons within a few hours the AC was working again. Michael came to our home after 10pm after being out all day and diagnosed the problem instantly. You might pay a little more for the service, but the service is first class.

Tech found compressor not starting in R22 outdoor unit due to failed 40/5uf 370VAC dual run capacitor. Tech replaced capacitor for testing purposes and found system back cooling. R22 pressures are low, but outdoor temperature is cool this morning. Tech called for heating and found middle heat strip cutting off on thermal overload snap disc. All three heat strips do run, but blower wheel may need to be cleaned and increase PSC blower speed to increase airflow and prevent heat strip from cycling on and off at snap disc limit. 7.5uf blower capacitor is reading very weak at 3.58uf. Outdoor coil looks corroded from possible dog urine. Tech confirmed indoor coil is leaking. Detector indicated hit on high sensitivity but not medium. Tech recommends thoroughly cleaning system before adding R22. Recommended ESA. Customer declined all repairs due to price. No interest in repairs or replacement at this time.

Tech found hood was slightly pulled off the wall 1/4 of a inch about 6 in long due to rain tech added more clear cualk to seal temporary tech did come march earlier this year and did mention if it happened again we would have to come with longer hood due to size being slightly to short. Office to call Mr king back with if any price for hood.

Tech found the outdoor coil frozen, tech forced defrost mode and board appeared to be operating fine after testing defrost. Thermostat sensor was open even with the coil being frozen. Costumer approved replacing the thermostat sensor and spoke with the office about billing. Office approved collecting part of the payment for the repair and bill out the rest for now. Tech performed ESA on 1 system customer not home upon inspection tech found system cutting out on high head pressure, tech found system to be extremely dirty and covered in debris this is why system has high head pressure tech performed full ESA no further challenges at this time. Tech recommends installation of UV light for indoor Evaporator coil to kill bacteria and debris.

Tech found blower housing is cracked. Blower housing is part of the cabinet and may not be a replaceable part. Tech recommended replacing unit due to age and condition. We will look further into a possible housing replacement if we need to. Need to schedule sales appointment

CUSTOMER STATED SYSTEM RUNS AFTER SATISFIED AT THERMOSTAT. MOBILE HOME GAS FURNACE RUNS BLOWER FOR A FEW MINUTES AFTER THERMOSTAT SATISFIES TO COOL HEAT COMPONENTS. THIS SEEMS TO CAUSE TEMPERATURE TO RISE MORE THAN DESIRED. CYCLED SEVERAL TIMES WITH NO CHALLENGES.

Upon arrival customer stated system is not working in heat or cool mode. Tech gave system a call for heat at thermostat and monitored gas furnace, tech found system not igniting. Gas valve was receiving a 24v call, tech checked gas pressures and found 0.4 in WC at gas inlet. Tech checked for an LP propane tank outside and found gas line but no tank. Customer stated tank has been removed and they were unaware system needed gas. Tech gave system a call for cool mode and found 24v call outside but breaker was turned off for condensor. Tech checked R-22 standing pressure before giving system power and found system to be completely void of refrigerant. System is 24 years old. Tech informed customer of all findings and recommended replacement of system. Field supervisor was notified. Collected $87.00 plus tax by card per house call fee.
