The service technician had over 25 years of experience, was very professional, and quickly installed the back order part our heating system needed. On the last visit, Jackson and Sons installed a temporary part to give our family heat until the new part arrived. Had it not been for them going the extra mile to help us with the “loaner” part, we would have been without heat until the back order part arrived. I highly recommend Jackson and Sons.

Performed routine maintenance per energy savings agreement. Technician did not find any challenges with system performance today. System is heating and cooling properly and holding a delta t of 20 degrees. Technician recommended installing a hard start kit to improve the longevity of the system. While it is a brand new system installed in 2023, a hard start kit will ease the strain on the compressor for years to come. Customer will think about it before deciding to move forward, estimate built and sent with email. This is a new address for customer, equipment added.

Tech preformed CMA INSPECTION on 1 Gas Package Unit and 1 Split System. Both systems are operating within specifications at this time. Tech did notice that the Split System is old and the evaporator coil for unit is in poor condition, but tech was unable to find any leaks at this time. Still due to age and current condition of system tech will have Office contact customer with further information. Tech has attached System Performance Reports to invoice along with pictures.

Performed routine maintenance per energy savings agreement. Technician did not find any challenges at todays visit. The system is still brand new and all electrical tested to spec. Plasma air purifier was also cleaned and is working properly. Delta t observed at todays visit was 20+ degrees.

Performed routine maintenance per energy savings agreement. Technician was unable to get anyone to the door either by ringing the doorbell or knocking. However, technician was able to make it to both pieces of equipment to get the full service completed. Technician found no challenges with the system itself today, all electrical is testing within spec. No delta t was able to be obtained. Major concern noted by the technician is the status of the ductwork under the home. There are several legs of duct that are ripped. In addition to this there are a couple of lines that are coming undone from the main supply duct. Office contacted and field supervisor will be scheduled to follow up on ductwork concerns.

Performed routine maintenance per energy savings agreement. Technician did not find any challenges with system performance today. All electrical tested to spec. System is heating properly and holding a delta t of 20+ degrees. One thing the tech would recommend is to replace the dual run capacitor. A number a terminals on the capacitor are showing signs of damage as well as some burnt pieces of wire connected to those terminals. While the capacitors are testing within spec, given it’s condition the tech would recommend replacing before it fails. Crawlspace is narrow. May need a smaller technician going forward for crawlspace inspection.

Performed routine maintenance per energy savings agreement. In terms of system performance the unit is operating normally. Delta t observed today was 20+ degrees. There are a couple of things the tech would address on the system. 1st is the contactor on the outside unit is emitting a buzzing noise. This is an indicator that the part may fail soon (video provided). Tech would recommend replacing to avoid any challenges in the future. Additionally, the technician would recommend installing an EZ trap and safety switch on the air handler in the attic. This will help future technicians get the condensation lines cleaner and avoid any potential clogs. The safety switch will help avoid any ceiling damage, should a blockage occur and cause the condensation pan to overflow. Customer approved all recommendations.
