So, my AC unit was installed right after Florence by a company that no longer exist. I’ve had issues with it since I moved in. I contacted Jackson and sons and they have been amazing. There’s been a lot of biting issues and they were able to take care of them all.I love all the techs. I also really love the bio that you send ahead of time before someone arrives at my house. David and Matthew were serious about their work, conscientious about their actions, and made me feel at ease. They made friends with my big old Bella dog. She loved all the attention. I couldn’t be happier with the service and attention that I received from this company.

Jackson & Sons maintain my HVAC system since installation 2015. My home has a 3-ton unit (for 2,005 sq. ft.) that ran for nearly a decade with refrigerant issues. This caused premature failures that were never addressed during their preventative care visits and despite numerous call from us that the unit had saturated cabinet insulation, not reaching set point below 75° and running unusual cycles and high humidity in the home.On July 15, 2025, a technician left my system running with the panels wide open for over 30 minutes--causing water damage, high moisture in the crawl space, and ductwork saturation. They drilled holes in the blower compartment for drainage of access water coming from the unit saturating the insulation in multiple cabinets and sealed the heat exchange panel with silicone (instead of proper UL-rated materials). None of this was documented despite emails asking if it was appropriate your procedure.When I asked for a "Good faith"replacement estimate, they quoted me $35,000 for a 4-ton unit and ductwork, claiming I wouldn't be charged labor, but then refused to provide an itemized estimate. They also tried to sell me products already installed in 2023.(surge protector, and plasma air)After years of repeated visits, contradictory diagnoses, no root cause for issues presented and no accountability, they eventually offered nothing more than a refund for a preventative care membership and stated they will no longer service my unit.They have still not provided liability insurance or tech license numbers despite my requests. In my experience, this company has shown negligence, unsafe practices, lack of transparency, and zero accountability.I would strongly caution anyone considering them for HVAC service or installation.———————————————————————-Update in response to the company’s reply:While the refrigerant issue was corrected on 08/18/2025, years of negligence caused long-term system damage. By the time it was addressed, the unit had already suffered premature wear, leaving me with higher costs and poor efficiency. Despite repeated visits, the company has never identified the root cause of the ongoing issues, as even stated in their own email.When I requested a fair estimate or replacement under their own warranty certificate, I was given inflated prices with no itemization. The company later refused to continue servicing my unit, even after technician Romario left access panels open while the AC ran for 30 minutes 07/15/2025. An incident they also never took accountability for.To this day, they have not provided proof of liability insurance or the licenses of the technicians who worked on my system over the years, despite repeated requests.
