Tech performed two system ESA. Upstairs- tech found no issues with system at todays visit. System is brand new. System is back on and operating properly at this time. Downstairs- Tech found that drain had clogged on unit and a small amount of water had backfilled into the bottom of the unit. Tech cleared drain and got all water out. Tech found no other issues at todays visit. System is back on and operating properly at this time.

found the compressor locked up. Tech did manage to free up the compressor by using a hard start kit. Refrigerant levels were low. The compressor did sound abnormal when the pressures were getting low. AC leak freeze was added last year. Tech did advise to not operate AC until a solution has been provided. Field supervisor was contacted to provide alternative options due to financial challenges. Cooling is down for now. Hold off on repairs until Mike is contacted based on a decision of the the homeowner.

Tech performed maintenance per service agreement. Tech found compressor not running on arrival. Capacitor was reading good and compressor was getting 240v. Tech found oil residue in drain pan. Homeowner had leak freeze put in last year. Tech suspects system is low on refrigerant. Tech contacted office to get help from a service tech. Homeowner did not have water available. Tech will have to return to clean coils. System is not operating properly at this time. Turned over to service tech.

Tech replaced 2 media filters 1 14x20 1 20x25 tech found contact was stuck open tech removed the 24v wires to check ohms it is at 14 ohms within specs. Tech then replaced wires back and contactor started operating properly tech cycled system multiple times each time contactor would engage with no issues.

Found the uv bulb burnt out, normal wear out. Tech educated the homeowner about our Plasma air purifies as an alternative option for air purification. Costumer would like to get the estimate sent to talk about it with his wife. No charge due to recent ESA, natural wear and tear on the existing bulb. Tech provided a flyer about the plasma air purifier.

Performed routine maintenance per energy savings agreement. Technician was unable to find any challenges with cooling system today. Today marked the first time the system has been put into cool mode. All electrical tested to spec. Delta t today was 20 degrees. Recommendations- tech recommended replacing dual run capacitor. The one in the system is testing to spec, however, given the condition of the part, the tech would not feel confident without mentioning this to the customer. No other issues present today.

Upon arrival tech found system out on low pressure. Tech reset system and monitored pressures. Pressures immediately dropped in cool and heat mode and shut back off on low pressure. Tech verified no airflow restrictions within system, found a leak at evaporator coil. Need to order coil and cover under install warranty per office. System is down, call to schedule repair when coil arrives.

Tech found the blower motor wheel stuck to the blower housing causing it to scrape and get stuck with the blower housing. Blower motor was hot to the touch, tech attempted to move the blower wheel but failed to do so, the shaft was seized on the wheel. Found a micro size leak at the corroded indoor coil, oil spots where identified. Tech also found the condenser fan motor over amping, rated for 0.6 and was pulling 0.7, condenser fan motor is expected fr failure. 2009 system is out of warranty. Field supervisor was notified to provide a solution. System is down for now.

Tech returned to replace compressor tech replaced compressor pressurized to 250psi held for 15 minutes pulled vacuum down below 350 microns tech added 6lbs 6oz tech started up system is operating properly at this time. Tech was unable to get inside but jumped system from outside in heating and cooling. Will need to double check pressures during next maintenance to confirm. System is operating properly at this time.

We called in the morning for service on our HVAC unit. Noah came out around 2pm, and left before 3pm. He diagnosed the issue, and let us know a future issue that may occur. He replaced the unit that was blown. He continued to ensure that the AC worked all around the house. Noah also included pictures of the part he replaced and sent a detail summary along with recommendations of future needs with pictures. He was very helpful and well mannered.

Our u it was working perfectly until it’s maintenance appointment. The technician could not figure out the problem so a more experienced technician was sent out. That technician determined the problem but said the part had to be ordered. A third technician came a couple of days later and determined that the part was incorrect and it will be next week before anew part and ANOTHER technician comes to install it. My frustration Meter is pegged. If you look at the history of this unit it has been problematic since Jackson and Sons installed it.
