Tech arrived and found a 4 flash high limit switch code on ICB, tech reset and system ran without tripping out again tech inspected system and found no challenges with blower and blower speed, inspected duct system and found no challenges ducts are in good shape, heat exchanger has no cracks, tech found coil compacted with hair and debris tech suspects this is what is causing system to trip on high limit along with thicker filter. Tech cleaned coil and replaced filter with 1 month filter system is now back heating with no challenges, tech informed customer of issue persist we will need to replace limit switch. No charge due to recent visit.

Replaced 1 hose bib and repaired 2 others.

Customer wants to replace furnace only. AC side of system is 5 years old and in good condition. Waiting on Carrier to respond with information on which furnace will match with existing AC components.

Tech washed and serviced unit and found compressor to be pulling higher amps on start up tech recommended adding a hard start kit to lower start amps customer was interested but would like to wait due to the unit be invested older and knowing it will need to be replaced in the near future. Customer did not wish for tech to enter home due to dogs. Customer changes there own filters tech could not check delta t or thermostat. Customer did insure unit to be running before tech left.

Upon arrival tech found ice buildup on condensing coil, found failed defrost coil sensor. Confirmed with ohm meter. Will need to order sensor and return to replace. Customer approved estimate. Call to schedule repair.

Tech washed and serviced unit and found no challenges at this time. Tech installed temp filters wile the cleaned able filters are drying. Unit is up heating and cooling properly at this time.

Upon arrival tech found low voltage fuse blown due to short in energy box. Bypassed box and ran gas heat, flame started to rollout when blower energized. Confirmed cracked heat exchanger with manometer. Also inspected AC and found no challenges. Field supervisor is scheduled to come out tomorrow.

Tech washed and serviced unit and found air handler to not be equipped with primary float switch or ez trap tech recommended adding customer would like to wait for now. The unit is up and heating and cooling properly at this time.

Advise to replace elements and thermostat and element Advise homeowner we cant turn new thermostat to 140 the highs is 125 And also due to the heavy rust around top element if it broke they would have to have water heater replaced Advise homeowner owner it would take 45 min to a hour for water to be Hot

Came to do pre smoke test. Failed due to wiring issue or detector issue. While rewiring manager said the inspector told him they did not need a duct detector due to not having a fire alarm in building. Stopped rewiring due to offices getting hot and disconnected duct detector and wired system up normally so it will cool. Check with inspector to see if detector is needed and if not will return to remove it. If needed then need to return to rewire and or replace detector.

Tech serviced and cleaned units. Tech found no challenges this visit (both units are fairly new). Both units heating and cooling efficiently. Customer renewed PSA plan.

Found defrost control board unplugged from 24V at contactor. Re-secured wire and cycled defrost with no further challenges. Service warranty.

Has to speak with wife before moving forward

Tech found reversing valve was engaged when calling for heat. Upon further inspection tech found 24v to the orange wire with no thermostat call. Tech found it from the condenser to the air handler. Tech replaced wire with black wire. System started up no issues and is heating properly at this time.

Invested in new system and plasma air

Tech found system was not cooling giving a fault safety switch. Tech found gas valve was on off position. Tech checked all switch’s and found the reverse air flow switch was not connected. Tech reconnected and system started up no further issues.

Tech found system was freezing up on the outdoor piston side. Upon further inspection tech found leak in evaporator coil system is out of warranty tech informed customer on the mandatory process and the field supervisor is scheduled to come.

Tech arrived and found system running. Tech found that thermostat is kicking unit off due to scheduling, tech informed customer of issue and informed him how to operate thermostat to bypass the schedule. System cycled on and off multiple times while tech was on site. All is good at this time.

{2018 Trane Gas Pack (natural gas)} Call: No heat. System cuts off intermittently. Homeowner changed the air filter and thermostat batteries. - Customer turned breaker off prior to this visit and no fault codes were displays upon arrival. System was operating normally. - Tech found rusted and corroded flame sensor, burners, and silicone spark igniter. System has not been serviced since install. - Observed draft inducer rattling during operation and found factory oil leaking from the bearing shaft. Advised customer that the inducer motor may need to be replaced. - Recommended a service agreement and recommended replacing the spark igniter and flame sensor in a future visit. Customer invested in a one system premium service agreement, paid annually, and opted to replace the parts next winter. - Tech cleaned the corroded components and replaced related hardware to get the system operational. - Customer opted to invest in indoor air quality products at a later time, expressing interes

Found a failed variable speed blower motor failed, indoor airhandler has a 40 amp breaker and outdoor unit has a 30amp breaker. Both have service disconnects nearby. Indoor and outdoor unit have mismatched brand units. Due to the cost of repairs, customer requested a system replacement quote as a better alternative. Field supervisor was contacted to provide the homeowner a solution. Split system is down.

Performed ESA. Tech found the mini split low on charge, leak was spotted on the evaporator coil. To replace the coil, Sheetrock may have to be cut out to undo the line to remove the coil. Customer is wanting to receive a replacement vs repair quote and possibly relocate the mini split if possible if it does get replaced. System is down for now. Field supervisor is scheduled to contact the customer for next Saturday to provide a solution.

Tech arrived and replaced sensor. Tech tested new sensor and found all readings to be accurate. Custome was not home and can not get answer on phone. Office stated they would continue trying to contact and collect payment all is good at this time.

Tech performed esa on one system. Tech found no issues with system at todays visit. Tech found that customer renewed at last visits and is not tte. All is good at this time.
