Performed cma full service on 11 split systems. Performed inspection of oven hood exhaust fan and make up air. Found attic condensate drain lines not insulated on all air handlers. Estimate for installation of 45’ insulation $690.59 each unit. Recommend addition of auxiliary pan drain line on air handlers 6, 7, 8. Actual time and materials to be billed if approved. System 1 Compressor shorted to ground. Compressor immediately causes circuit breaker to trip. Unable to remove wires from compressor to further test. Compressor side of dual run capacitor tested high. Provided estimate for replacement of compressor capacitor $222.78. Due to age and issues with unit, recommend replacement of condensing unit. System not currently operating. HP-2 Outdoor fan motor capacitor tested weak. Provided estimate for replacement of capacitor $198.14. HP-4 Outdoor fan motor capacitor tested weak.
