When you’re the best, there’s only one way to go. I’ve used J&S exclusively on my rental home for the past few decades. My recent experience with them was the first that was less than excellent. Communication was poor and I waited a month and a half for a new part to arrive when I’m pretty sure it wasn’t even ordered until my tenant followed up with me saying the a/c still wasn’t working properly. WHAT!?! I had pre-paid and thought the work was complete-no reason to believe it wasn’t! I believe it was after I followed up after almost two weeks that the part was finally ordered and my tenants were without air (thankfully in springtime) for over a month when they said they can add some Freon until the part arrived.

Replaced a R410a compressor under service warranty. New compressor came with a wiring and copper line kit which tech had to redo some of the existing copper lines to make it work up to specs. Kit came with a low pressure switch which tech wired in series with the high pressure switch. Added acid away to the compressor, Brazed in new liquid line filter dryer and joints while flowing nitrogen, pressure tested to 350psi, pulled a vacuum down to 348 microns. Wiring secured with zip ties and foam tape. Charged system with 6lbs 7oz( factory specs) of R410a. System is back up and cooling a of now. Costumer requested paper copy of invoice.

Replaced an anchor screw from the package unit hood that was not in all the way, wrong screw was used, and re sealed around the foundation with clear silicone. Homeowner looked at the finish result. Before and after pictures were taken. Covered under full warranty.

Found a dual run 45/5 capacitor reading 0mfd on both herm and fan terminals. Kevin approved over the phone to replace the dual run capacitor with a Turbo capacitor. Checked refrigerant levels after the repair, levels are within specs. System is back up and cooling at this time. Member pricing has been applied/corrected by the office, discard the member price section shown on the invoice. Costumer May want to upgrade to premium plan instead of plus plan on their next renewal to save on the house call fees. Dean-pearson@twc.com
