Joshua came to my home to troubleshoot my a/c that was not cooling properly. Within a few minutes he isolated the problem, repaired my system and had me back up and running within the hour.

Upon arrival tech found 15 amp breaker tripped at newly installed condensing unit. Tech reset breaker and found 8 flash fault code at EEV control board, compressor not pumping code. Amp draws are well within spec on compressor, pressures are within spec as well as subcool. After about 10 minutes of run time compressor became louder and made an unusual noise. Tech cut power to system. Tech reset system and again monitored refrigerant pressures after clearing fault code. Tech performed open and close test on EEV and found no challenges. Tech let system run and was unable to get system to replicate same issue. Upstairs reached cooling set point before techs departure. Tech stated if issue occurs again to call. No charge per new install.

Tech performed maintenance per service agreement. Tech found compressor on Trane package unit testing in the red. Tech informed homeowner. Homeowner stated he would call whenever he is available to talk to a supervisor. Tech replaced one 20x20x1 and one 20x30x1 filter. Systems are operating properly at this time.
Ricardo T.
Tech washed and serviced the unit and found no challenges at this time. Customer would like a drop off of 1 14x14x1 filter 10am or later.

Tech found system working properly at this time, but the only thing that would cause the heat strips and blower to run is either the sequencer, thermostat or thermostat wires. Tech replaced sequencer and system is turning on and off properly. Tech cycled system multiple times
Ronnie P.
Tech performed ESA on 1 system. Tech found no challenges or concerns with system: tech siliconed small gap between hood and wall. System operating properly upon departure. Crawlspace in good condition, dehumidifier and condensate pump working properly.
Luis R.
Tech found system was hunting on heat mode but was operating properly during cooling tech also found a leak present in suction line coming off the compressor scraping the cabinet tech spoke with office and found the system is not under warranty. Tech let customer know about pricing and no warranty customer decided to get quote on new system and make decisions from there. OUTDOOR txv for condenser s#15316R2J2F

Tech performed ESA on 1 system. Tech found no challenges or concerns with system operations. 50 mfd and 20 mfd capacitor tested near lower threshold but still within specs. Homeowner asked about daughters room upstairs - cold in winter and hot in summer. Upon inspection, tech noticed closet window had a minuscule amount of air coming in and also closet has no vent, tech recommended to keep closet door open or buy something to put at base of door to trap air in closet. System operating properly upon departure.

Tech installed union on drain line leading to condensate pump. Tech found no other challenges or concerns with system operations. System operating upon departure. Tech built estimate for 15mfd capacitor replacement. Homeowner unsure of filter size, next tech in area drop off filter if homeowner calls it in.

Tech waited for customer to arrive. Upon arrival customer stated system continuously runs past heat set point even though thermostat is satisfied. Tech put system in heat mode and monitored system operation, tech found fan in auto position. Tech lowered set point to see if system would turn off as needed. Thermostat clicked and strip heat turned off but blower kept constantly running. Tech disconnected 24v green wire at furnace and blower still ran. Tech tested blower fan relay, relay had failed. Tech replaced relay and tested, blower is now turning off and on as needed. Collected $322.55 by card for repair, no Housecall fee per premium agreement.
Luis R.
Tech returned to replace blower motor, motor was stuck and technician had to work to motor out slowly
Luis R.
Tech tested system on heat mode found zone board would by pass the compressor and run on heat strip mode when called for heat not engaging compressor even thro there was 24v on the thermostat side of zone board tech called for cooling and compressor would run fine.tech suspected zone board relay has failed in heat mode tech recommended replacing 2-4 zone board customer approved will need to order and replace part

Found system calling for emergency heat only, room temperature delta T. Contactors for the heat strips were pulled in but no amp draw. Found 2 fuse links broke. Zones are opening and closing properly. Costumer approved replacing the fuse links. Upon testing heat, tech noticed the heat pump did not turn on. Thermostat called for Y at the zone board but not to the equipment. Bypassed the zone board, Y thermostat to Y outdoor unit and did not turn on. Need to further diagnose low voltage and verify the proper operation of the zone board. Aux heat is currently operating. Tech informed the homeowner about the findings. Call and add 919-440-4249 Karla throughout the week to recheck the low voltage challenge.
Romario T.
1 Split system. Tested the system on heat pump only and aux only as well. Both ran and started up without challenges. The indoor breaker at the panel did trip after running aux for more than 10 minutes, no burnt wires or improper wiring was found at the indoor unit. Tech did notice the breaker was warm after tripping. Tech also noticed oil residue on the filter dryer brazing points, potential refrigerant leak. Home inspection report stated to have a finding of a refrigerant leak around the filter dryer. Costumer will contact Wayne electric to have the 60amp breaker verified and replaced. System operation test was performed. 70 degrees inside the house.
Kenny C.
Tech found failed blower motor. Motor is getting a call and proper 240 to motor but not coming on. Tech informed homeowner of issue and office will get in contact with homeowner regarding pricing. No charge per premium customer. Unit is a rheem model.
Kenny C.
Homeowner was very concerned with the red alert on the bottom of thermostat. Tech connected Wi-Fi to thermostat and cleared the red light. Tech also reprogrammed thermostat as far as scheduling and temperature inside home. Tech also explained to homeowner thermostat has to have a 3 degree difference between heat and cool. No charge due to maintenance being recently performed.
Spencer C.

Technician was only able to complete routine maintenance on the upstairs system due to weather. Upstairs- technician was unable to find any challenges with system operation today. System is operating normally in heat and holding a delta t of 20+ degrees. One thing of concern was the capacitor on the outside unit had a terminal that was damaged, it appeared to be from a loose connection over time. Tech notified customer and they would like this corrected. Tech is rescheduled to return to complete gas pack maintenance next week and will take care of the capacitor then. Price quoted was 302 plus tax. Downstairs - tech was unable to complete service due to rain. Office has scheduled technician to return next week to do full service on the gas pack. One additional item, there is some ductwork down in the hallway half bath. Tech has documented this and will repair when they return.
