FOUND 21 YEAR OLD SYSTEM LOW ON R22 CHARGE. LOCATED PINHOLE LEAKS WITHIN BOTTOM OF EXTREMELY RUSTED EVAPORATOR COILS. FURTHER INSPECTED AND FOUND HUGE CRACKS WITHIN RUSTED HEAT EXCHANGER. HANDED OVER TO FIELD SUPERVISOR.

Performed ESA, homeowner was not home at the time of maintenance. Could not get in contact. Tech found a leak inside evaporator coil. Video and pictures are uploaded. Homeowner needs to be aware of leak due to the importance of issue. Could not get renewal.

Tech washed and serviced unit and found duct work starting to deteriorate due to age tech found no other challenges at this time. Customer renewed ESA 1 system.

Tech performed ESA on 1 system found no challenges at today’s system operating properly at this time, tech explained all plans to customer renewed ESA 1 year 2 visits.

Performed routine maintenance per energy savings agreement. Technician did not find any challenges while servicing equipment today. System is operating properly at this time. Customer did not want tech to run system in Cool mode, only heat. System is heating properly, delta t for cooling unable to be obtained. Uv bulb and media filters were swapped out last trip. Bulb is still functioning properly and filters look good.

Repair the low pressure switch wire that is burnt off. Tech jumped out the thermostat wires for cooling and system operated. Homeowner was not home during the repair. Costumer pre-approved today’s repairs.

Unit still under warranty 6 years old and customer is selling house. Service department is emailing quote for coil replacement

OILY SUBSTANCE WITHIN COMPRESSOR COMPARTMENT AS WELL, BUT UNABLE TO LOCATE ANY LEAKS. COMPRESSOR RATTLING AS WELL MAY BE DAMAGED DUE TO RUNNING STARVED OF REFRIGERANT. OUT OF WARRANTY SYSTEM. [email protected] Tech found the pressure switch open, low refrigerant Was found at the unit, almost bottomed out. Indoor coil is rusted, small hits of refrigerant was picked up at the indoor coil near the back section, system would need to be pressurized with nitrogen to identify the pin point location of the leak. R22 split system is 10+years old, compre Checked out on the green. Refrigerant was added 2 years ago. Costumer requested our field supervisor to come out and provide a solution on this Friday at 10am. System is down as of now. Not interested in ESA at the moment due to major challenges present.

Homeowner was not home upon arrival. Found a low pressure wire burnt off, causing the system to not operate (compressor and outdoor fan). tech attempted multiple times to provide the findings to Scott and was unsuccessful. Estimate will be on file. System is down for now unitl repairs have been authorized. Tech spoke with dispatch and is aware of the the situation.

Upon arrival tech installed 1 inch filter in return plenum. Homeowner stated that he wanted a filter installed he only had to replace once a year. Tech tried to set up field supervisor visit to give quote but homeowner stated he wanted to wait right now and would call us back when he was ready.

Customer invested in new system. Installing Friday

Upon arrival customer stated condenser previously made a very loud noise upon startup in cool mode for about 15-20 mins then cleared itself out. Tech ran system in cool mode and didn’t notice in any issues upon startup. Capacitor is within spec, compressor windings tested good. Tech monitored refrigerant pressures and found system to be low on refrigerant. Performed leak search after approval, tech found a leak at evaporator coil. System is 14 years old. Informed field supervisor. Tech collected $214.27 for todays visit.
