This is my first time dealing with Jackson & Son, and I am very impressed. The service man came out the same day I called, promptly, in sweltering heat. I’m having a kitchen renovation done, so the house is in a shambles, he was very polite and kind. The diagnosis of the problem was not easy; Donnie and Tyler worked tirelessly to fix the problem, requiring multiple service calls in 2 days. Tyler did not charge for the last service call; I was grateful for that. I will recommend to anyone.

Tech found train 824 thermostat constantly rebooting and never reaching home screen. Tech swapped out thermostat with a vision pro 8000 per customer request and system is working properly at this time. Customer was in shower upon departure. Tech inform son that manuals for thermostat or above thermostat as well as Wi-Fi information. System working properly at this time. Warranty

Home was just built. Previous Contractor cannot find an issue with equipment or source of noise inside home. Upon inspecting system tech turned both zones on and tested unit operation and system is working properly but there is a loud echo and vibration noise coming from left side of home both upstairs and downstairs. Tech and very clearly hear a loud vibration noise coming from refrigerant lines traveling up walls. Tech went up in upstairs closet and tech and feel heat from line set through drywall. Tech believes line set is not thoroughly strapped down or wall chase is not properly insulated buffering noise. Customer will handle situation with previous contractor

Tech found system empty on refrigerant. 2016 unit. Costumer stated that another company changed system with refrigerant last year. Tech performed a leak search on package unit by adding nitrogen, per costumer approval, and heard the leak coming from the middle of the evaporator coil with slight oil residue. Picture is sent to costumer of leak location. Quoted $4571+ tax regular, ESA $3886+tax per Monica for evaporator coil replacement and adding new refrigerant. Tech recommended costumer to sign up on PSA and agreed. Costumer requested price a price on a new unit to weight out his options of replace vs repair. Depending on cost. Need office to schedule a Comfort Consultant so that a price for a new unit is provided to the costumer so he can decide what is his best option. Heating is operating, AC side is down. Gas package unit.

FOUND LOW VOLTAGE FUSE BLOWN UPON ARRIVAL. REPLACED FUSE CYCLED SYSTEM. FUSE BLEW UPON IGNITION STAGE. FOUND LOW VOLTAGE FUSE LOOSE/DFT WIRING PINCHED BETWEEN FUSE/SPARK IGNITOR. RE-SECURED AND CYCLED SEVERAL TIMES WITH NO FURTHER ISSUES.

Tech replaced evaporator coil and filter dryer. Tech brazed new evaporator coil and filter dryer with nitrogen flowing throughout system, leak tested with nitrogen, pressure held at 250psi. Pulled vacuum down to 380microns and performed decay test. System held vacuum. Tech charged 7lbs and 8oz of R410A Refrigerant into system(factory specs). Tech tested system operation at the unit due to not having access inside home. Tested cooling system for 20 minutes. Cooling system is operating correctly at this time. Collected over the phone with costumer. Costumer did not approved signing “costumer acknowledgment” form due to not being present at the time of the repairs. Costumer would like to test out cooling system himself once he is home before signing acknowledgment form. Office may need to follow up with costumer to get costumer to sign acknowledgment form after he is satisfied with his cooling system. Cfutrell560@gmail.com
