KINCAID - Princeton, NC 27569
Independent contractor fixed issue whereas y’all recommended new unit or 4 k part. Not happy and seems techs lately have just been recommending new units. Still giving 5 stars bc I’m not an ass but hoping for some more experienced and less costly options

Tech came out to install customer supplied control assembly in LG mini split condenser. Disassembled unit removed old control assembly and installed new control assembly. Tested operation and LG system is back up and running. Ken would like to know if air could be added to the pump room or if exhaust would be better. Concerned that room could get hot in the summer.
Kenny C.
Performed CMA inspection
Michael H.
Tech verified refrigerant leak at the orifice assembly. Tech tightened the mechanical fitting of the assembly to stop the leak. The evaporator coil is in very poor condition, rusty and impacted with debris. Replacement of evaporator coil is recommended over cleaning. Tech measured refrigerant pressures at 75/251. Tech cleaned the condenser coil (service is due in June) and found it impacted with grass. The refrigerant pressures were 74/215 with no superheat when tech departed. Evaporator coil condition is a challenge.
Michael H.
Tech found that the compressor would not run. Inspection found that the start wire (red wire) had burnt off at the compressor. The common wire (yellow wire) has been repaired recently. Tech installed a terminal repair kit on the start wire. Reinstalled and secured the terminal cover that was left off. Tested operation and compressor is back up and running.
Luis R.
Upon arrival tenant stated that unit was operating until yesterday that air would come through but not cold. Tech connected gauges and found pressures low indicating low on refrigerant R 22 tech then proceeded to perform leak search and found leak on piston fitting. Tech also found evaporator coil extremely dirty and clogged and will need to be removed to chemically cleaned. Tech does not recommend trying to tighten fitting due to possible major leak if stripped out fitting. Tech recommend replacing unit due to repairs and type and age of refrigerant.
Kyle W.
NEST TSTAT IS WIRED CORRECTLY. SYSTEM WORKING PROPERLY. INSTALLED SURGE PROTECTOR.
Michael H.
Tech returned to replace the control board in the LG mini split. New control board was not the correct one. Office will need to obtain another. Tech also installed a remote sensor in glassed-in outdoor kitchen area. Sensor is connected to the thermostat and is used for averaging temperatures.

Recommended replacing UV Bulbs. Also recommended Plasma air purifier.
Luis R.
Tech cleaned all five systems thoroughly. 2019 model has had new compressor installed and is operating properly. Tech found blown UV bulb in theatre room air handler. Recommend having Plasma pure air installed ($881.45 plus tax). Tech changed all filters inside for the five systems that were serviced. Tech found no further challenges with systems, tech cleaned and leak detected all systems. Customer left during service, tech unable to reach homeowner via phone regarding service agreement extension or recommendations. Billed out customer for service agreement extension $1286.34, if customer would like to add the other three new 2022 model systems price would be an additional $776.07 to add on.
Romario T.
Tech dropped off 16x20x1 and 24x24x1 filters. Left at front door.
Michael H.
Tech disassembled LG condensing unit. Removed and replaced condenser fan motor. Connected new remote to air handler and tested. System still shutting down on high pressure, new condenser fan will not run. Need to order control board for condenser.
Ryan S.
Tech found thermostat not sending out a call for cooling. Tech was able to jump out equipment and test unit operations and system is working properly. Draft inducer motor has been previously diagnosed by another company but customers waiting till next year to get replaced. Customer is going to buy his own thermostat and call us back to put it in. Customer also signed up for a one system PSA. Need to perform ESA visit when thermostat is installed
Michael H.
Tech returned to replace a faulty compressor in the upstairs system. Refrigerant charge was recovered, compressor and filter drier were replaced. System was pressure tested, evacuated and recharged with 8 lbs. 14 oz. Of R-410. System is back up and running.

Upon arrival tech found breaker tripped. tech restored power air compressor will not come on. Tech began to test compressor and components and found no continuity between compressor terminals when compressor is cool to the touch. Diagnosed bad compressor. No model or serial numbers on outdoor unit. Based off air handler, system appears to be from 1996. Tech spoke to Mr. Gray Kincaid, customer would like a estimate to replace equipment.
