Upon arrival tech found blower belt had snapped in half, tech replaced blower belt with customer supplied belt. System is back on but did let customer know system is still low on charge and issues might occur in the future.

Duct repaired

Upon arrival tech found hardware area system (Trane Odyssey) with aux pan full of water and inside of air handler full of water. Tech found water dripping off of evaporator coil into air handler floor. Drain line was not clogged, crack in right side corner of aux pan. Pan may have also overflowed if coil froze. System is low on R22 causing water to drip off coil. Highly recommend replacing 24 year old system. Estimate sent. Left system off and removed water from pan. Informed owner. No service call charge per office.

Techs found that thermostat was falsely programmed for a single stage compressor; corrected by programming for 2 stage. Performed a leak check and found nothing definitive. Need to upsize 14” return to at least a 16”.

TECH REPLACED 7.5 FAN CAPACITOR FOR 5 mf CAPACITOR. SYSTEM IS RUNNING PROPERLY.

Upon arrival tech found outdoor fan not coming on. After further inspection tech found dead capacitor for the outdoor fan. Terminal was also melted. Tech replaced capacitor and system fired back up. System is currently cooling properly at this time. Need to return to put on proper size capacitor. Tech only had a 7.5mfd and unit needs a 5mfd.

FOUND THERMOSTAT PROGRAMMED FOR CONVENTIONAL. SWITCHED TO HEAT PUMP SETTINGS. SYSTEM UP AND COOLING. WARRANTY.

TECH PERFORMED CMA FULL SERVICE ON 3 SPLIT SYSTEMS. SPLIT SYSTEM #1 AIR HANDLER(2344) HAD A PROPER DELTA T OF 18 DEGREES FROM SUPPLY TO RETURN, TECH FLUSHED DRAIN LINES AND CLEANED CONDENSATE TRAP. TECH REPLACED FILTER FOR SYSTEM AND ASSURED BLOWER MOTOR AMPERAGE WAS IN CORRECT RANGE. SPLIT SYSTEM #1 COMPRESSOR CAPACITOR RATED FOR 45mf TESTED WEAK AT 41.5mf. CAPACITOR DUE FOR FAILURE, RECOMMEND REPLACEMENT OF CAPACITOR. WITH A MEMBER SAVINGS OF $40.22, REPLACEMENT OF CAPACITOR RATED 45mf FOR SPLIT SYSTEM #1 COMPRESSOR WOULD BE $243.85. SPLIT SYSTEM #2 CONDENSER SYSTEMS DUAL RUN CAPACITOR HAS FAILED, TECH OBSERVED WIRING THAT GOES TO CAPACITOR HAS BURNED UP WIRING AND THE CAPACITOR. RECOMMEND REPLACEMENT OF DUAL RUN CAPACITOR FOR SPLIT SYSTEM #2 70/5mf. WITH A MEMBER SAVINGS OF $53.33, REPLACEMENT OF DUAL RUN CAPACITOR FOR SPLIT SYSTEM #2 WOULD BE $323.36. TECH REPLACED BURNT WIRING WHICH CONNECTS TO CAPACITOR. SPLIT SYSTEM #2 COMPRESSOR AND FAN CAPACITORS ARE WITHIN CORRECT MF READINGS

Upon arrival customer stated system has been staying 1 or 2 degrees above set point for longer than normal on hot days. Tech monitored refrigerant pressures and found pressure slightly low. Located a leak at evaporator coil. Informed customer of findings, field supervisor is scheduled to come out. Tech completed remainder of maintenance. Customer did not extend maintenance agreement due to todays findings and will make a decision on unit repair or replacement moving forward.

Tech confirmed findings from CMA. R22 kitchen system still has high superheat and low subcooling. Tech estimates system is 2-4 lbs low on R22. Tech does not have R22 on the truck today. Make up air unit and exhaust hood are running, but kitchen is not keeping up due to system being low on charge. Tech still highly recommends replacing 24 year old AHU in attic and R22 outdoor unit. Need to give system replacement quote. Inside of AHU is wet and system is still draining from auxiliary pan drain line as previously documented. Tech let Jordan-manager on duty of findings. Copied previously recommended estimates to invoice. Emailed customer findings. Penny Harper 252-559-7885. Tech let Mrs Harper know of findings. She says the older system is for the hardware store, not the kitchen. Says the Goodman condenser on the ground is for the kitchen. Tech inspected Goodman condenser on the ground and found outdoor coil clogged with dirt, common wire melted off capacitor and head pressure very h

Performed ESA, tech found outdoor fan over amping and start run amps. Recommended replacing outdoor fan, gave warranty pricing. Also recommended hard start kit to help windings inside compressor. Wife couldn't get up with husband for approval. Might call in to have those recommendations approved and replaced. Homeowner extended PSA.

Tech returned and installed inshot burners that were quoted last visit.

Called customer to let them know eta. Customer mentioned he just wanted outdoor unit for mobile home. Explained to Mr Kornegay what the process is for a mobile home with packaged unit. And he wanted to go ahead and see if he could get approved. Was unable to get wife approved. He is going to see if he can find someone else to finance it for him

Tech installed 2-20x20x1 filters in kitchen

Tech performed CMA inspection. Tech only has 4 of 6 filters. Could not replace kitchen filters. Need return to replace two more 20*20*1 filters for kitchen. Tech found 12 year old Goodman AHU above store to be frozen over. Ice melt is in aux pan. Filters were clogged. Tech replaced filters and changed blower speed from low to high. Allowed system to thaw while inspecting the other two systems. Found condensate pump and drain working correctly on 2017 model AHU. Tested drain. Found drain clogged on 24 year old Trane AHU. Unclogged drain and flushed with water. There is water in aux pan. Aux pan is rusty. Found 5uf outdoor fan capacitor reading weak at 4.1uf on 2017 Goodman condenser on the ground. Checked R22 condenser. Found superheat high and sub cooling low. Tech suspects system is 1-2 lbs low on R22. Tech recommends getting replacement quote for R22 kitchen system. TECH SERVICED AND WASHED unit. Found no challenges.

Tech washed and serviced unit and found no challenges at this time customer was not home tech could not check delta t or check thermostat tech left filters in storm door.

Te h found a coil split systems straight ac. Tech did find coil was slightly dirty. Tech also found coil is extremely rusty and found oil spot on the left coil in the middle of coil. Tech leak searched system and found there was a leak in the oil spot as well as coil was freezing up after the indoor txv. Tech informed office and spoke to Gina. She informed tech to proceed with maintenance on system add leak freeze and charge back up. Tech proceed with maintenance added leak freeze and added 2lbs of 410a to achieve pressure ps within specs. Outdoor temp is slightly colder then on charge sheet. Next visit to recheck pressures. System is operating properly at this time.

Tech performed ESA on 1 system found leaking evaporator coil and burnt heat strip contactor, field supervisor out to verify.

Tech performed ESA on 2 systems, found gas pack no lighting consistent tech found burners very corroded and rust clogged wings tech cleaned burner but recommend replacing due to amount of corrosion. Customer approved replacement of burners tech doesn’t have burners on truck office needs to order tempstar burners.

Tech performed maintenance per service agreement. Tech found no challenges at todays visit. Tech did not have 24x24x1 filter on truck. Tech will have to drop filter off when possible. System is operating properly at this time.

Tech washed and serviced unit and found no challenges at this time tech recommended replacing uv bulb customer would like to wait for now and and change next visit. Customer extended psa via card 373.43
