Upon arrival tech found 60 amp breaker for air handler tripped at main panel. Reset breaker and immediately heard cracking/popping noises from breaker. Found wire beginning to burn at breaker. Found no issues with system. Verified correct size breaker. Electrician is needed to make repair in main panel and check wiring. Informed Habitat for Humanity office and electrician is scheduled to come out.

Found gas shut off at furnace, turned gas back on and tested. System is back up and heating.

Mr Cooke wanted price for new downstairs system in case potential homebuyer wants it replaced.

Tech cleaned and serviced unit. Tech found compressor capacitor reading low at 34.2/40 MFD. Tech recommened customer dual run capacitor. Customer approved. Tech also found evaporator coil Rusted and corroded found potential start of a leak customer is aware.

Tech cleaned and serviced unit. Tech found compressor capacitor to be reading low on the fan side. Tech recommended turbo capacitor. Customer approved. Unit is up and heating and cooling properly at this time.

Two techs replaced thermostat wire and tested system. Collected for repair.

Replaced breaker for upstairs condensing unit. 15 amp sq d. Had to repair disconnect. Need to return with vp8000 for upstairs. Sensor bad. Also replace condenser disconnect with fused disconnect and 15 amp fuses.

Tech washed and serviced unit and found no challenges at this time.

Low voltage fuse was blown on arrival. During testing, tech also found 30 amp heat pump breaker failed to connect one leg of power. Tech replaced fuse and firmly cycled breakers. Jumped system and it started up. Tech got amp draws and refrigerant pressures in heat mode. Heat strips amp correctly. ECM blower ramped up and down correctly. Tech forced a defrost cycle without issue. Ran cooling mode without issue. Tech shut power off again and ensured all plugs and wiring is secure. Turned power back on and tested system again. System is heating and cooling. Tech could not initially duplicate issue with blown low voltage fuse. Tech does recommend replacing 30 amp breaker to prevent future issues. Customer approved. Tech installed new Siemens 30 amp breaker and tested unit. Went back inside and found focus pro is still blank. Tech measured 28 volts between R and C. Added batteries. Screen lit up, but tech got no response from unit. 24 volt signal is not making it to the unit. Same symptom

Tech performed service on lennox package unit. Recommend 20x25x3 media filter. Installed after customers approval Customer renewed maintenance plan. Delta t is within specification and customer is satisfied with todays visit. Found no other challenges at todays visit.

Tech performed service on carrier package unit. Recommend plasma air purifier. Installed plasma air purifier after customers approval. Customer usually has system off but ran unit for maintenance servicing. Cut unit back off after service completion. Delta t is within spec and customer is satisfied with todays visit. Found no other challenges at todays visit.

Tech washed and serviced unit per service agreement, tech found no challenges at today’s visit, upon arrival tech found uv bulb blown in system, tech recommended replacement of uv bulb, customer declined at today’s visit and wants to wait until next visit, system is back up and running and holding a delta t of 20 degrees

Tech arrived and found secondary drain pan full and float switch stuck, tech freed float switch and installed primary float switch and EZ trap after approval system is no operating and draining properly.

Tech washed and serviced unit no challenges found. Used 2 20x25 filters. Tech recommended extending ESA, customer approved. Unit is cooling with a delta T of 18.

Install Trane 3 Ton Package Heat Pump With Plasma Air With WiFi Programmable Thermostat

Replaced mixing valve and installed an eyewash on bathroom faucet.

Tech performed pre buy inspection on two systems. Upstairs- tech recommends replacing auxiliary drain pan due to excessive rust and Corrosion, tech also found float switch is there but needs to wired into system. Tech recommends that upstairs system be serviced and cleaned. Downstairs- tech found no difficulties with downstairs unit at this time system is on and operating properly in both heating and cooling modes. Tech does recommend that unit be serviced and cleaned. Good delta to from both systems. All ducts are in good condition.

Tech performed esa on one system, Tech found excessive bacterial growth and dust/debris in unit and recommended installing plasma to prevent issue in the future. Customer approved. Tech found no other issues with system at todays visit.
