I woke to a cold house Saturday 1-30-21 and called Jackson and Son's around 7:00 am. They were very helpful and dispatched Mathew out to my house and he arrived around 11:00 am the same day! I knew Mathew from a previous visit too my residence. He was very professional, friendly and answered all my questions. He found the problem in a matter of minutes, explained what had happened and then replaced the defective switch and further did a systems check to make sure nothing else was amiss! Excellent Tech!!! My only gripe was I thought the switch was a little/ a lot pricey for a sensor switch the size of my thumb nail but if it doesn't work it doesn't work! Anyways great response time, excellent service as always. Did I mention the replacement part being a shocker? Lol, ya get what ya pay for!

Tech returned to replace 6ft of 14in flex upon removing old flex sewage water was still in duct customer let tech have plastic to put down where sewage water was tech replaced duct unjt is operating properly at this time
Tech performed maintenance on system, customer stated system is not cooling properly. System only had a five degree delta t. Tech found suction pressure at 25psi and 180psi on head pressure. System was very low on refrigerant. Tech performed leak search and found multiple positive hits in same spot on side of indoor coil. Tech recommended AC leak freeze or replacement of warranty coil. Tech stated there is no guarantee that the leak freeze will stop the leak. Warranty coil is $1869.57 plus tax. Customer approved AC leak freeze, tech injected the leak freeze and added 4lbs 1oz of R410A. Pressures are within spec and delta t is 18. System is cooling properly. Tech collected $715.83 for todays repairs.
Upon arrival customer stated system took a really long time reaching set point yesterday. Thermostat was satisfied at 72 upon arrival., tech set thermostat to 70. Tech proceeded out to unit and found compressor, condenser fan motor, and blower motor running properly. Compressor was amping at 9.03, condenser fan was amping at .78, and blower was amping at 1.43. All components are testing properly within specs at this time. System is cooling with delta t of 18. Customer decided to get on comfort premium plan for two systems, one visit per year alternating.

REPLACED UV BULB. RECOMMEND PLASMAPURE AIR PURIFIER.
Tech found the ports for the refrigerant lines were barley even open tech was able to get many full turns to open fully tech mega ohmed the compressor and found it on red indicating the compressor is failed tech believes since ports were not open fully it starved the compressor to failure customer will contact install company about mini split.
RECOMMEND PLASMAPURE WHOLE HOUSE AIR PURIFIER.
Homeowner was home Tech found backed up drain due to buildup inside system tech flushed out drain tech made sure was draining good, system draining properly at this time. Tech replaced both 16x20x1 filters. System is operating correctly at this time. Would recommend replace uv bulb next visit.
Upon arrival tech was told electrical was corrected but left disconnect off because he did not want to mess unit up. Tech put disconnect in and found unit operating correctly tech cycled heat and cool all operational thermostat operating correctly as well. While there’re h did see Goodman split behind house has ice on outside coil tech found bad defrost board tech quoted $524.51 for replacement homeowner son in law was there and said he has hvac experience and he will change part out for homeowner
Tech retuned to replace ignition control board once replace unit ran for 10 secs then unit cut off upon further inspection tech found disconnect only receiving 120v tech tried to trace wire out to main panel but all breakers are given out 240 v tech also did not find the same wire at disconnect to main panel indicating it was spliced tech tried to go in crawspace to straps wire but wire is in bathroom wall no in crawspace tech spoke with office informed customer she will need a electrician to trace wire tech did remove new board and put her old board back once power is correct she will call if further diagnose is needed
Tech returned to replace 824 thermostat under warranty once replaced unit still shorted out causing thermostat to blank out upon further inspection tech found ignition control board was causing the short to the unit tech quoted out regular $303.75 esa $258.19 customer agreed for repair tech did inform customer there is a possibility that old thermostat had failed due to short and will bring new thermostat just in case at time of replacing control board we find the thermostat has failed as well repair is under 10yr part’s warranty office is to order part
Tech diagnosed bad thermostat. Did not find reason for thermostat malfunction other than thermostat not responsive System works as it should , thermostat will not go up Please order 824 thermostat homeowner approved
