I woke to a cold house Saturday 1-30-21 and called Jackson and Son's around 7:00 am. They were very helpful and dispatched Mathew out to my house and he arrived around 11:00 am the same day! I knew Mathew from a previous visit too my residence. He was very professional, friendly and answered all my questions. He found the problem in a matter of minutes, explained what had happened and then replaced the defective switch and further did a systems check to make sure nothing else was amiss! Excellent Tech!!! My only gripe was I thought the switch was a little/ a lot pricey for a sensor switch the size of my thumb nail but if it doesn't work it doesn't work! Anyways great response time, excellent service as always. Did I mention the replacement part being a shocker? Lol, ya get what ya pay for!
Service was quick and proficient. Technician was very professional.

Tech performed ESA on upstairs split system. Homeowner noted a loud noise coming from condenser, upon inspection it was a loose screw. Tech found no challenges or concerns with system. System is operating properly upon departure. Homeowner extended PSA for 1 system, twice per year ( rotate system each 6 months). Spring visit technician will perform ESA on downstairs package system. NEXT TECH IN AREA DROP OFF (1) 14x20x1 FILTER FOR UPSTAIRS BEDROOM

Gas pack has a 1 flash for limit circuit open. Resettable rollout is not tripped. Found no cracks or holes in heat exchanger. Measured half an ohm across limit switch. Bypassed it for testing purposes. Still flashed one flash. Power cycled, sequence of operations started and HSI glowed red, but when board clicked to open gas valve, inducer shut off and blower motor turned on. Ensured all plugs are seated and turned power back on. Inducer motor is stopping and starting erratically. Hardwired pin 3 to pin 8 bypassing high limit and rollout. Ignition control is still giving a 1 flash for limit and starting/stopping inducer erratically. Tech diagnosed failed ignition control board not following through proper sequence of operations. Disconnected inducer to prevent it cycling on and off continuously for now. Customer is at the doctors office today. Not home during service call. Need to call them back after 2pm today to get them repair vs replace quote. Due to history of adding refrige

Performed ESA. Technician found no challenges during today’s maintenance. The hood is still in need of replacing same as last visit. System is heating and cooling properly with a delta t of 20 degrees. Customer did not renew maintenance agreement. They stated they purchased it originally to avoid a service fee at the time, and did not wish to have maintenance performed going forward.

Performed ESA. Technician found no challenges with system operation. System is functioning normally and holding a delta t of 18 degrees. While performing maintenance on package unit, the condensation drain line was found to be covered with pine straw. Tech cleared away pine straw and cleared drain line to prevent water from backing up into system. The Uv bulb in the system is blown, so tech recommended replacing this. The quoted price for Uv bulb replacement was 207 plus tax. Technician also discussed the plasma pure air purifier as a maintenance free option for the customer. Price quoted for air purifier was 810 plus tax.

Tech returned to perform repair on door and rerun drain line to allow good water flow tech did get reading of humidity did drop tech recommends unit run then return in a few weeks to recheck humidity levels
Luis R.
Tech found no insulation on a/h door as well as outlet for drain line runs 20 ft elbows out the foundation but the elbow is lower then the outlet on the foundation causing the drain the back up into a/h the Crawspace is dry the moisture is coming from a/h tech checked the return duct return duct is dry and tech also checked the supply duct which it offsets up 12 inches so no water could be in there tech did find water build up in drain pan water is flowing out but at a slow rate causing moisture to be pushed into the home tech 83 percent moisture out of supply vent will require insulation to reapply to door and core drill to drill hole closer to a/h to have adequate drainage
Joseph C.
Upon arrival tech checked humidity in home found average humidity to be around 70-75%, supply putting out 85% humidity. Tech inspected system operating at normal run pressures with no issues, tech also inspected ducts and found no challenges.
