Upon arrival tech was informed there was a branch line under the house that was fallen down. Tech inspected issue and found a 2x12 boot that had fallen at some point and when the homeowner began repairing damaged floor was not put back in place. Will need to return with second tech to help spot and cut hole and secure boot in floor. Office will reach back out with estimate on repair.

Tech found fan running but not compressor due to a failed capacitor. Tech replaced capacitor and found normal operation. Tech recommends maintenance plan. .

Upon arrival tech found system completely iced over with thick ice tech saw brand new filter. Customer stated she just changed it and it was really dirty. Tech found dead dual run capacitor also replaced after approval ice is to thick for tech to de ice. Tech covered blower and electrical compartment to prevent from getting wet and left system off. Customer stated she will put panel back on and turn system on when de iced.

[email protected] Found the condenser with high head pressure of 428 and 94 on the suction. 20+ year old split straight AC system. New thermostat, thermostat wire, contactor, and capacitor were replaced by another company. Tech did record the condenser fan amp draw that’s at limit and high compressor amp draw as well. R22. Tech diagnosed a restriction within the system. The compressor was hot and the fan motor will turn off once it gets too hot as well. The condenser coil is hot to the touch. Indoor system is dirty as well. Costumer decided to receive a system replacement quote from us, this challenge has been happening for months now. Need to schedule a field supervisor to provide a solution. Collected house call fee only via cash.

FOUND TRANSFORMER FAILED UPON ARRIVAL. INSTALLED NEW TRANSFORMER WITH 5a FUSE FOUND SHORT RESULTING FROM FAULTY THERMOSTAT INSTALLED BY CUSTOMER. STATED HE WILL REPLACE THERMOSTAT HIMSELF. COLLECTED FOR TRANSFORMER. INVESTED IN ESA 1 SYSTEM. SYSTEM IS DOWN UNTIL TSTAT IS REPLACED.

Replaced dual run cap on upstairs unit. Upstairs back to cooling Downstairs unit needed a new transformer. Replaced transformer and noted water in the primary float switch After fixing transformer found 1/3 blower motor to draw high amps and filter was dirty $989 plus tax to replace. Recommend maintenance plan or to at least schedule a cleaning of both systems. This will help prevent drain from over flowing We need to follow up and replace 1/3 blower motor for downstairs system . Tech lacked the time and a 7.5 mfd capacitor

Upon arrival tech found condensing unit not running on downstairs system. Tech removed thermostat faceplate and found 0 volts at R circuit. Air handler is located in crawlspace. Tech opened crawlspace door and found large snake at crawlspace entrance as well as multiple snake skins. Tech placed crawlspace door back and was unable to further diagnose system due to snake. Informed customer and recommended having pest control come out and taking care of snake issue. Tech stated to call back once taken care of so we can schedule to come back and further diagnose system. Customer agreed. Tech suspects blown fuse and most likely a low voltage short. Send tech that does not mind snakes if available for next visit. Collected $87.00 plus tax per Housecall fee.
