Jackson and Son specializes in professional, 100% guaranteed residential and commercial heating and air conditioning installation, maintenance tune-ups and repair services.
Your HVAC system, regardless of its kind, should be examined, cleaned, and serviced at minimum twice yearly. The heating system should be examined in the fall and the air conditioning system in the spring. Gas equipment should be cleaned and maintained once a year, at the start of each autumn.
The cost of replacing a whole HVAC unit ranges from $5,000 to $10,000, with a national average of $7,000. Prices are determined by the size and brand of the HVAC system, the total square footage of the dwelling, the length of the ductwork, and the efficiency rating of the new unit. Expect to pay between $1,500 to $12,500 for new installations. HVAC installation expenses generally range between $500 and $2,500 in labor costs. The entire cost is determined by the kind and state of the existing system. Retrofitting forced or central-air heating often costs more than replacing existing equipment.
A typical HVAC tune-up will consist of three fundamental stages: inspection, cleaning and servicing. Repairs may or may not be included in the service, depending on whether or not problems are discovered in the inspection.
The inspection phase is when the technician looks for signs of damage. In the instance of an air conditioner, they will inspect the drain pan, check refrigerant levels, and inspect other components. In the case of a heater, they will inspect the compressor, the motor, and any other components to verify they are in excellent working order.
The cleaning phase of the air conditioner should be included in every tune-up that includes the air conditioning system, furnace, or both. Even if you change the air filter on a regular basis, the expert will need to clean your system to keep it in good shape.
The HVAC service phase seeks to prevent your HVAC from any unforeseen and inconvenient breakdowns. If there are any issues with your air conditioning or heating system, our expert will fix them right away. This may entail changing old parts to prevent them from causing more damage.

The service technicians were very professional and polite while performing the maintenance on our heat pumps. After 17 years of service our 2nd floor heat pump had exceeded its lifespan and is in need of replacement. The team was very helpful in working with us on selecting a new higher efficiency unit. Tommy - La Grange, NC 28551
Highly recommend Jackson and Sons for heating and air condition service. All of my interactions have been very positive and professional. Responses to my calls for maintenance and repair needs can’t be any better. I’m not sure how many companies you can call at 6:30 on a Saturday evening, have the technician return a call in 7 minutes and be at your house 30 minutes later. My unit was back up and operational in a very short time after diagnosing the problem. Technicians are very knowledgeable, respectful and polite. 5 stars all across the board!

Found a failed cinder fan motor, capacitor is within specs. Tech waited to hear a response from Mr. Wallace to receive approval for the replacement of the condenser fan motor or set up a visit from a field supervisor to provide the homeowner with a better solution. Mr. Wallace approved replacing the condenser fan motor with a truck stock 1/4hp 1075 condenser fan motor, (OEM motor is 1/10hp with 1100rpm). After the condenser motor replacement, tech checked the refrigerant levels and found it to be slightly low on charge. Costumer declined field supervisor visit and approved over the phone to charge system with 1lb of R22. Checked delta T. System is cooling as of now, mr Wallace is aware that there is a leak within the system and invested in MPA as of today.

Performed ESA. Educated costumer about home purification systems (UV light and plasma pure air) to help her with her allergies. Condenser fan seems a little loud but amp draws are within range, condenser fan motor has had ice sit on top in the past. Costumer does not want to replace the condenser fan motor for now, but if the the motor tends to get louder or fails, she will address the challenge. Tech recommended AC renew to quiet down the compressor and to lubricate the refrigerant system, costumer will ask about it during her next visit as she plans to possibly relocate later on.
