For the past 4 years at least 4 techs have come to the house unable to identify and diagnose the issue with air flow. Tyler out performed all these and was able to get to the source of the problem which was collapsed duct work. If the other techs had his commitment to service the problem would have been solved 4 years ago. In any case, we’re grateful for his willingness to get into tight spaces and find the problem. We now have incredible air flow that will help the unit last longer and make our home much more comfortable. Thanks Tyler!

Tech performed inspection(home sale) findings are on the system report form and also informed costumer about it. Collected by check. No information label found on outdoor unit. System is heating properly at this time.

Tech performed maintenance per energy savings agreement. System is functioning properly at this time. Customer was not home at the time of service, tech performed outdoor portion only. Tech was unable to change filters or check delta t. Tech found mold/bacterial buildup in blower compartment. Tech included estimate for plasma air ionization device to help combat mold/bacterial buildup in unit/duct system.

Office will need to coordinate a tech to drop one off next time customer is at this location or drop off at customer’s other property in the Knightdale area. Tech made customer aware of findings of mold/bacterial growth in blower compartment. Tech included estimate for plasma air ionization device to help prevent mold/bacterial growth in the future and to protect duct system.

System will need a condensate pump to drain properly Currently drain is routed under the house and water will pool up under house in summer time Will need electrician to install an outlet.Will also need 3/4” masonry drill bit . House has history of needing wood replaced Homeowners wife described burning plastic smell on occasion, tech put fan on circulate to see if that will dilute smell and even out temperature between both sides of house Inspected under install warranty

Upon inspection, tech found outdoor fan motor not running in heat mode. The compressor was running and the heat strips were energized. The 7.5uF outdoor fan run capacitor was reading within specs. Tech found that the outdoor fan motor had seized internally. Tech quoted $660.43 to replace 230V 1/4HP 825RPM condenser fan motor. Customer approved. Tech installed new motor, new 5uF run capacitor and tested system operation. System is back up and heating properly at this time. Note: Manufacturer data plate calls for max overcurrent protection of 35A for the heat pump and 60A for the heat strips. There is a 50A and 70A breaker installed in the service disconnect, respectively. Tech informed customer and recommended replacing with proper sizes in the near future. Customer invested in MPA for 1 system. Tech collected $825.64 by credit card for house call/diagnostic fee, repairs and first month payment of MPA.

Tech attempted several times to connect thermostat to total comfort plus app. Tech found thermostat making a miscommunication fault with the registration of the thermostat. Tech recommended replacing thermostat under 2-5 year J&S warranty. Costumer declined replacement of thermostat. Collected house call feed.

FOUND SYSTEM STUCK IN DEFROST UPON ARRIVAL. FOUND OD TEMP SENSOR UNPLUGGED FROM DEFROST CONTROL BOARD. RE-SECURED PLUG. CYCLED WITH NO FURTHER CHALLENGES AT THIS TIME. SUSPECT REVERSING VALVE MAY BE STICKING INTERMITTENTLY.
