Upon arrival tech found Vison Pro 8000 thermostat blank for dining room system. Kitchen thermostat was reading 92. Customer stated thermostat has been displaying a higher indoor temp than what it feels like. Tech reset kitchen area thermostat. Upon inspection of dining are package unit tech found no voltage at board for cooling call. Transformer is putting out 24v. Tech reversed phase between L1 and L2 however there was still no voltage across board. Display was indicating “PE” after resetting breaker. Tech swapped between L2 and L3 and board indicated incorrect phase wiring. Tech swapped back to original wiring and reset system. Display now showed “—“ as manual says it should upon resetting. Tech followed startup operation and system came on. System is cooling with an 18 degree delta t. Tech reset power several times to assure system would come back on, tech found no further challenges. (2) Trane 2.0-Ton Heat Pumps w/ Air Handlers

Gray Sullivan 919-344-9826 Customer reported RHEEM air handler aux pan full of water. He vacuumed it with shop vac. Tech recommends thoroughly purging drain with nitrogen. On arrival, aux pan was dry. Tech gave system cooling call. Outdoor fan started, but compressor did not. Found 40/5uf dual cap reading in spec, but bottom of compressor contactor burnt due to loose connection. Tech was able to bypass burnt connection by moving line voltage to the other end of straight bar on contactor. Tech recommends replacing contactor due to condition. Customer approved both repairs. No further challenges found. Monica approved billing.

Systems were cooling and operating upon arrival. Performed a leak search on the York gas package unit serial #N1B6334020. Found circuit 1 and 2 operating upon arrival, dinning room temperature was close to set point. Leak detector picked up a scent around circuit 1 shader valves on the discharge line, on one of the TXV distribution/capillary lines, and a very small indication within the bottom center of the evaporator coil. Tech was not able to confirm then exact location of the leak at evaporator coil and the distribution line with soap bubbles which could indicate micro size leaks. Tech did pick up some at the shader valve cores. Tech tightened the shader valves and bubbles stopped. Circuit 1 pressures of 132/348 Circuit #2 pressures of 126/335. Colby will be informed of the findings about a small leak picked up at the indoor evaporator coil. Cover under warranty per office.
