Jackson and Son specializes in professional, 100% guaranteed residential and commercial heating and air conditioning installation, maintenance tune-ups and repair services.
Your HVAC system, regardless of its kind, should be examined, cleaned, and serviced at minimum twice yearly. The heating system should be examined in the fall and the air conditioning system in the spring. Gas equipment should be cleaned and maintained once a year, at the start of each autumn.
The cost of replacing a whole HVAC unit ranges from $5,000 to $10,000, with a national average of $7,000. Prices are determined by the size and brand of the HVAC system, the total square footage of the dwelling, the length of the ductwork, and the efficiency rating of the new unit. Expect to pay between $1,500 to $12,500 for new installations. HVAC installation expenses generally range between $500 and $2,500 in labor costs. The entire cost is determined by the kind and state of the existing system. Retrofitting forced or central-air heating often costs more than replacing existing equipment.
A typical HVAC tune-up will consist of three fundamental stages: inspection, cleaning and servicing. Repairs may or may not be included in the service, depending on whether or not problems are discovered in the inspection.
The inspection phase is when the technician looks for signs of damage. In the instance of an air conditioner, they will inspect the drain pan, check refrigerant levels, and inspect other components. In the case of a heater, they will inspect the compressor, the motor, and any other components to verify they are in excellent working order.
The cleaning phase of the air conditioner should be included in every tune-up that includes the air conditioning system, furnace, or both. Even if you change the air filter on a regular basis, the expert will need to clean your system to keep it in good shape.
The HVAC service phase seeks to prevent your HVAC from any unforeseen and inconvenient breakdowns. If there are any issues with your air conditioning or heating system, our expert will fix them right away. This may entail changing old parts to prevent them from causing more damage.

Customer reported noticing a moisture spot on subfloor above where AHU is while replacing living room flooring. New flooring is installed. Another company has replaced a section of 12” flex duct and left old duct in the yard. Moisture barrier in crawlspace is in good condition, but crawlspace is very humid. Tech measured 85% RH. Entire duct system and AHU is sweating. After a few minutes, tech measured 92.6% RH. TEM6 AHU is already wired into Y2 correctly and dip switches are set for nominal 2 ton airflow (off,on,off, off). Duct system is intact, but sweating. Supply box branches into two 12” ducts leading two two distribution boxes. Distribution box furthest from the crawlspace is almost rusted through. It can be taped up with FSK tape and a towel to dry it. There is a 120 volt outlet by the crawlspace door. Tech highly recommends sealing foundation vents with spray foam and installing a dehumidifier. Would need a Santa Fe dehumidifier, 4 cinder blocks, an EZ trap and PVC tee, 6 f
