Found a shorted single pole compressor contactor shorted, blown 5a fuse, failed 1/6hp 875rpm condenser fan motor and a cracked primary drain pan at the indoor evaporator coil. 2006 model system. Compressor Checked out on the green(good) level based on the Meg test. Field supervisor was dispatched to provide a solution. System is down for now. Duct work looks good.

Tech performed maintenance per service agreement. Tech found no challenges at today’s visit. Tech did not have 24x24 on truck. Tech will have to drop one off. Tech did not go inside. System is operating properly at this time.

Upon arrival tech found compressor not coming on. Compressor amps were not present when checking amp readings. Tech found dual run capacitor had failed. Tech replaced failed capacitor with new turbo capacitor. Homeowner also invested in MPA. System is back up and cooling. All ESA maintenances and future services will go to Mrs Green.

Tech found 30 amp breaker for compressor tripped. Tech reset breaker and tripped again. Tech megaohmed compressor found it shorted to ground. Tech called in mandatory for field supervisor to come out and give best solution tech did notice evaporator coil extremely rusty and tech leak searched it did not find any leaks at this time due to compressor not running so no pressure build up. Tech recommends replacing due to age of system. Tech waited for homeowner daughter to come to collect payment

Upon arrival tech found system out on compressor lockout due to economizer in free cooling mode. Tech reset system and monitored operation. Tech unable to test economizer due to certain materials needed to complete test. Uploaded steps for test in photos. System ran in cool mode for 30 minutes plus with no issues before techs departure. Unable to reach Mr. Tyler for payment after multiple attempts via phone using all numbers on file. Billing out per office.

Tech performed maintenance per service agreement. Tech found ants inside of unit on control board and behind insulation in electrical compartment and blower compartment. Tech sprayed and removed ants after homeowners approval. Homeowner paid 96.41 via check for removal. Tech replaced two 12x24 filters. System is operating properly at this time. Homeowner would like number ending in 7048 removed

Tech performed ESA on 1 system, homeowner not home during maintenance. Tech found no challenges or concerns with system/operations of system. Tech did not leave filters, homeowner can call back with filter size and we can drop off accordingly. System powered back on upon departure.

Tech performed ESA on 1 system. Techs leak detector detected at least 2 leaks in evaporator coil, tech attached videos to summary. Tech called field supervisor, Mike came out and verified findings and will contact homeowner about options to address the issue. Tech found no other challenges with system, compressor megged green but only at 300. Delta T is currently sitting at 7 degrees where it should be around 20 degrees. System powered back on upon departure.

Tech recharged system and added leak freeze. System is now operating properly. No charge for today.

Tech washed and serviced unit and found evaporator coil have have surface rust starting to form but no leaks at this time tech recommended hard start kit customer is interested but wants to wait till next visit. Unit is running with a delta t of 25 return of 71 and a supply of 46. Tech found no other challenges at this time.

Tech found low suction in heat and AC modes due to a leaking evaporator coil. Tech was able to pinpoint 2 leaks in the coil joints and recorded leaks. Coil will need to be replaced.

Upon arrival tech turned thermostat to ac and found unit short cycling. Tech washed and serviced unit. Customer would like us to comeback tomorrow.

Tech found 17 year old Lennox package heat pump in a low pressure lockout. Tried to clear lockout with a power cycle, but 60 amp heat strip breaker will not reset. It is old and has failed. Tech replaced breaker for testing purposes and got 240 volts from new breaker. After clearing lockout, system came on in cooling mode after time delay. Tech let system stabilize and found system 1-2 lbs low on refrigerant. Tech swept indoor coil and found indoor coil leaking. See video. Compressor megged green. Bryce is running mandatory. Bryce is checking on financing for her on Monday. Customer could not afford breaker today. Tech left system down. Collected housecall.

Performed routine maintenance per energy savings agreement. Technician found the system to be cooling properly and holding a delta t of 20 degrees. Concerns - the evaporator coil in the system is very rusty. Tech did a thorough leak search and was unable to come up with anything. The delta t is within spec so it does not appear the rust is affecting performance at this time. Will need to monitor this going forward. Technician also found the dual run capacitor testing slightly weak today. The part is rated for 45mfd +-5%. Current reading is 42.3, below operating window. Customer approved warranty repair, repair made.
