Job Locations and Reviews
Tech labeled upstairs and downstairs system. Also installed carbon monoxide detectors.
Tech found and tightened a loose exhaust fan belt.
Tech arrived and leak searched system, tech was unable to detect any leaks at this time, tech noticed that evaporator coil was completely blocked off allowing no airflow through unit. Informed Caleb and Caleb spoke with customer. Customer decided to just get coil cleaned and signed up for ESA. Tech cleaned coil and monitored system for 15 minutes. Pressures were good and delta t was good. Tech changed filters. No charge for cleaning per Caleb.
Tech arrived and found compressor not coming on for downstairs system, tech checked pressure switch and low pressure switch was tripped, tech checked pressures and found txv and locked closed and was not allowing any refrigerant back to compressor. Pressures were 26 low and 325 high. Tech gave quote to replace txv and customer approved. Tech spoke with office and got txv ordered.
Tech arrived and found condenser not running, tech found that capacitor had blown out. Tech recommended replacement of capacitor with turbo and customer approved. System is now back on and operating properly at this time. Tech got updated card info and stored in system.
Tech performed ESA, tech found no operational issues at this time. Tech recommended adding surge protection to system to prevent any major components from being damaged by power surge or lightning strike. System is back on and operating properly at this time.
-Performed CMA Full Service on 15 Split System Heat Pumps and 1 Mini Split System Heat Pump. -System 2: Outdoor fan motor capacitor tested weak. Recommend replacement of capacitor. Provided estimate for replacement of capacitor $217.59. Replaced per approval. -System 4: Outdoor fan motor capacitor tested weak. Recommend replacement of capacitor. Nearby landscaping encroaching on condenser and is likely causing air flow restriction through condenser coil and strain on outdoor fan motor. Recommend cutting back nearby vegetation. UV bulb in poor condition, likely past life span of 12 months. Bulb did not illuminate. Price for replacement $221.22. -System 5: Carpet under air handler damaged prior to service. Sold 2 ton Carrier split heat pump and Worry Free warranty
(UPSTAIRS) FOUND 16 YEAR OLD R22 SYSTEM LOW ON CHARGE. LOCATED LEAK WITHIN HEAVILY RUSTED EVAPORATOR COILS. COMPRESSOR IN THE CAUTION. HANDED OVER TO FIELD SUPERVISOR. (DOWNSTAIRS) INVESTED IN PSA (1) SYSTEM. SCHEDULE 1ST VISIT. 16 YEAR OLD R22 SYSTEM. EVAPORATOR COILS RUSTED NO LEAKS FOUND. RUST ON HEAT EXCHANGER. FIELD SUPERVISOR IS ON SITE.

Tech performed ESA, Tech recommended adding hardstart to prevent high amperage from diminishing wire coatings that will cause compressor to short. tech found no other issues with system at this time. System is back on and operating properly at this time. Tech recommended cleaning dryer vent due to vent being clogged, customer approved.
Tech found excessive amounts of bacterial growth and debris in unit. Tech recommended installation of plasma to help break down and prevent contaminants from getting in ductwork and home.
Tech performed ESA. Tech found no issues at todays visit. System is back on and operating properly at this time. Tech recommended adding surge protection to protect unit from electrical spikes and to prevent any major componets from being damaged.
Tech performed ESA, Tech found excessive amounts of bacterial growth inside blower wheel and throughout unit. Tech recommended adding plasma to prevent bacteria from growing and contaminating ductwork and home. no other issues were found at todays visit. System is back on and operating properly at this time.
Performed ESA, recommended hard start kit to improve the life of the compressor and make system more efficient. Also to lower light bill, homeowner stated she wants to wait to discuss with husband.
Serial #5123P17295 carrier 25 ton. Found system off at the service disconnect, tech checked the wiring at the thermostat and system. Cycled the power on and tested cooling at full cycle. Proper delta T was acquired. Tech set the thermostat on cool at 75 degrees upon departure. New install Warranty.
Mark Gilbert 919-502-6910. On arrival, Mark Gilbert from maintenance reported system was blowing warm air yesterday. Maintenance reported $18k of repairs recently done and system is still not cooling. According to Mark, we repaired a refrigerant leak and replaced the blower, and immediately had to also replace the compressor. Also says he does not think we tested system after replacing compressor. Mark expressed dissatisfaction. Need to have office call and follow up on Monday. Tech found 70/5uf dual run capacitor failed inside kitchen rooftop condensing unit (serial #3376). Mark approved replacing capacitor. System is back cooling. System is draining. Poured a full gallon jug into drain and confirmed it draining at exit. All the drains for 3 Goodman AHUs in attic are tied together. There is a harsh double 90 degree turn in the supply ductwork directly at the discharge airflow from AHU. Need to have office review all pictures.
-Performed CMA Full Service on one Trane 7.5 ton split heat pump. Cleaned both sides of evaporator coil, flushed drain pan, trap, and drain line, replaced air filters and checked amperages and temperatures. Observed transformer wired for 240v instead of the proper 208v. Corrected as appropriate. Disconnect at rooftop did not properly reset after service. Second reset worked; verified voltage and operation of system. Found no challenges with system at this time. System is 17 yr old refrigerant type R22. Customer should consider replacement of system. Office should provide proposal for replacement so that landlord may plan/budget accordingly.
-Performed CMA Filter Change on one rooftop package system per maintenance agreement.
-Performed first visit CMA Full Service on one wall mounted Gas Package System and one Split Furnace System. -Left System (Rheem Gas Pack): Signs of freezing at compressor upon arrival. Found evaporator coil completely encased in ice. Condenser coil excessively dirty. Air filter excessively dirty, likely causing severe restriction in air flow. Unable to obtain accurate supply temperature or oppressor amperage until evaporator coil has completely defrosted. -Right System (Trane Split Furnace): Recommend EZ Trap to properly service drain line. Provided estimate for installation of trap $153.90. Added 2 unions to clear drain line with compressed nitrogen. System operating correctly at this time.
Tech found leak on fin side of evaporator coil on rtu 3 s# 3820 tech found 115 error code for rtu 1 s#0822-26506-1 tech found leak on evaporator coil due to having shipping crates in the way and the outer wall on the leak side tech found a u bend leaking with leak dectector but could not further pin point if any more leaks were present tech is confident of leak being on evaporator coil on right side wall side. Tech was able to remove doors off top side of coil due to the line way line sets we ran tech could not remove lower door panel
Upon arrival customer stated no airflow from system number 2 at training center. Tech put system in cool mode from thermostat and checked air handler in attic. Blower came on properly. Tech found outdoor fan running at condenser but compressor not running. Found melted wires/failed run capacitor. Replaced capacitor and jumper wires for testing purposes but compressor still did not come on. Found open winding at compressor. Compressor is failed, informed field supervisor. Billing out for service call fee.
Performed ESA, no issues at todays visit. Tech washed and serviced unit. Also recommended hard start kit to improve the life of the system and lower compressor amp draws.
Tech performed two system ESA, Tech found excessive amounts of bacterial growth and debris in downstairs unit. Tech recommended installation of plasma to help break down and prevent contaminants from getting in ductwork and home. Tech found no other issues with either system at todays visit. Systems are back on and operating properly at this time. Customer supplied filters. Customer stated they are going to call next week to get scheduled to have plasma installed.
